IN THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE THIS MORNING THE SUN WAS TRANSITTED BY MERCURY...IT BEGAN AROUND 6.12AM WHEN THE SUN WAS ONLY 3 OR 4 DEGREES ABOVE THE HORIZON & FINISHED AROUND MIDDAY...WITHOUT PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE...LUCKILY I HAVE MY FRIEND 'STARMAN' WHO WILL PROBABLY SEND ME SOMETHING HE'S CAPTURED...IN THE MEANTIME THIS WAS THE BEST I COULD DO...AT LEAST I CAN SAY 'I WAS THERE'

If you keep posting such beautiful pictures I am going to have to come and visit! Arlene has already told me enough about how wonderful it is there, but now I will have to see it for myself some day.
